Bringing the Arts and Community Together
RAAA is a group where fiber artists brush shoulders with painters and dancers mingle with photographers. The goal is to promote a wide variety of arts. It is within this mix of talented people that wood carvers and actors can share dreams and ideas with writers, musicians and all their fellow artists. The diversity of the group is the root of its strength.
Grounded in the local arts community, past and present, the Rusk Area Arts Alliance (RAAA) was established as a not-for-profit alliance to further the community’s perception and understanding of the arts as well as its participation in them; to provide economic opportunities for artists; and to create venues for socializing and inspiring creativity among artists and the community.
Through widespread participation in local arts activities and emphasis on arts education, the Rusk area will continue to grow as a vibrant, creative, economically viable area.

RAAA is awarding three (3) - $500 Scholarships to Seniors from Flambeau High School, Bruce High School, and Ladysmith High School to further the Arts.
RAAA selected John Hoover and the Writer's Exchange to receive the Friend of the Arts awards this year. We are grateful to have folks like John and the Writer's Exchange as vital parts of the arts community.
